Shareholder Ellen London served as a Court-appointed Receiver in the case Mark Shin v. ICON Foundation, from the District Court for the Northern District of California. In that role, and with expert assistance from FTI, Ellen was responsible for collecting and holding millions of dollars’ worth of cryptocurrency (as well as fiat currency) during the pendency of the case. At the conclusion of the case, she managed the dissolution of the assets, including the payment of various fees incurred by different parties. The Court ruled that Ellen completed all of her duties on August 7, 2025.
